King Tut The Don "AKA" John Wilson is a Music Artist, Activist. Actor and Indigenous Aboriginal Tribal Chief.
He was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio and still resides there today. He is very active in his community as an activist for human rights as an Indigenous Aboriginal Tribal Chief.
King Tut the Don was discovered by Richard Markle and RichieRichEntertainment. He isn't new in the underground hip hop industry being a 10 plus year veteran. He has also been a ghost writer and as a producer he has definitely started making a impact in the community.
King Tut was taken under the wings of music mogul and record producer RICK WARD, who arranged music for India Erie, Brian Mc Knight, Arrested Development, Anita Baker, Hootie & The Blowfish just to name a few. He emerged on the rap scene quickly with his rap crew The Villians in 1992. The rap group grew to be Ohio’s biggest underground rap/street crew in hip hop, the growing stardom led to The Villians 1st mainstream album but was held back due to internal business agreements. So King decided to break away from the crew and continue his professional journey.
He was recently in 2 indie films "Losses"(2017) and "BYBBQ"(2017) both in post-production and is currently staring and Directing a mini TV series pilot "Mafia Ties"(TBA).
Expect to see more and more of him around in 2018 and beyond.
To keep up with what he's got going on you can follow him on IG, Twitter and his Facebook page.
