Jinx TK
Growing up in Edmonton, Jinx molded himself into an MC to be reckoned with under the tutelage of some of Edmonton's best hip hop acts. Now residing in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, Jinx has become an integral part of the local community. From performing at, and promoting, local hip hop shows, to collaborating with local talent, to hosting a hip hop radio show on CHLY 101.7, Jinx has made a name for himself on the west coast. Being heavily involved in giving a helping hand to the members of his community that most need it, Jinx organizes and promotes a yearly Christmas charity event called "Hip Hops Toys For Tots" where all proceeds raised are used to ensure underprivileged local children get a special Christmas experience.

Without the aid of managers and promoters, Jinx has cut his own path through the Canadian hip hop scene. In October 2011 and again in December of 2014, Jinx was featured and interviewed on a local entertainment TV program titled "The Show". On the strength of his skill set and reputation alone, he has collaborated with many notable Canadian MC's and producers and has shared stages with legendary hip hop acts such as Madchild, Moka Only, golden era New York rhymers, Black Sheep, and Wu Tang Clans, Ghostface Killah.

As an MC, Jinx covers a lot of ground. He is equally comfortable rapping, from personal experience, about some of life's most difficult struggles as he is with tearing into trendy and unoriginal new age rappers with surgical precision. His braggadocio rhymes and delivery invoke memories of golden era hip hop. Equipped with a versatile flow, complex rhyme structure and impeccable delivery, Jinx lets it be known that he is not going to put up with any materialistic swagger rappers making a mockery of the art form that he has worked so hard to preserve. His voice is perhaps his best asset, with a powerfully effortless delivery of the of Chubb Rock, Son Doobie, Celph Titled variety.
