Growing up in Edmonton, Jinx molded himself into an MC to be reckoned with under the tutelage of some of Edmonton's best hip hop acts. Now residing in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, Jinx has become an integral part of the local community. From performing at, and promoting, local hip hop shows, to collaborating with local talent, to hosting a hip hop radio show on CHLY 101.7, Jinx has made a name for himself on the west coast. Being heavily involved in giving a helping hand to the members of his community that most need it, Jinx organizes and promotes a yearly Christmas charity event called "Hip Hops Toys For Tots" where all proceeds raised are used to ensure underprivileged local children get a special Christmas experience.
