Dawn Mendoza is an Autism & Special Need Advocate, Autism & Hearing Impaired mom and Speech Teacher.
Dawn became a Speech Teacher after being a long time Advocate for her daughter Ashley whom has Autism and is Hearing Impaired. As time went on being an Advocate for her daughter led her into wanting to help other parents and children with special needs. She found her niche as a speech teacher. She has gone to Red Carpet Events for Autism Speaks and volunteers when she has had time. She is Married to actor, stuntman, MMA fighter and married to ANEW podcast cohost Mariano "Big Dawg" Mendoza.
As Ashley grew older it was always on Dawn's mind what she could do to help Ashley have independence. Would she ever be successful? Will she be able to have anyway to help herself? The answer is yes! Ashley always loved to paint. So Dawn set it up so she could paint until her heart was content. Now with the right guidance she has become a professional Artist! She has started taking custom orders (50% down required for custom) as well as SOLD quite a few custom paintings and those she painted on her own.
